Following the Kanchanaburi project, the Suphanburi project is expected to begin by the beginning of 2010. This power plant also has a nominal capacity of 9 MWel and peak capacity of 10 MWel and is capable of producing 21 GWhel per year that is directly fed in to the state owned electricity grid.
